ROAR - Youth Social Action
Have you ever thought about Youth Social Action?
Possibly not but you might have thought about doing something in our local community - from taking in your neighbour’s bin, helping an elderly person to get their shopping, volunteering to organise an event or activity, going on a demonstration? All of these are forms of social action.
ROAR group is social action for young people in the Gainsborough area; as a group we look at what the issues and concerns might be for ourselves and other young people and come up with ways we might be able to do something about them.
