Report: Childhood maltreatment and adult suicidality: a comprehensive systematic review with meta-analysis

A research report from researchers based at the University of South Wales and University of Manchester detailing a systematic review of 68 studies examining the relationship between different types of child abuse and rates of suicide amongst adults. They have found an increased risk for suicide attempts and suicidal ideation was identified in adults who experienced sexual, physical or emotional abuse as children compared with adults who have not experienced maltreatment during childhood.
