Create the Debate UK Parliament Resource

A resource created by the UK Parliament Education Service for students to learn debating skills and processes that are used in the UK House of Commons.

The resource is designed to help students to form opinions, justify their viewpoints, learn about the importance of playing “Devil’s Advocate” and take part in the democratic decision-making process.

The resource can be used in Key Stage 3 and 4 Citizenship, PSHE, English and History lessons or by an after-school Debating Club.
