Paul was appointed as Chair of Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in May 2015. The Trust provides mental health and learning disability services to the County of Lincolnshire.
Paul has had a varied and successful career in a number of senior leadership roles within the third sector as well as executive and non-executive director level experience.

Hannah Clarke BA (hons) PGCE, MASC (P.Th) is a qualified teacher, youth and community worker, psychotherapist and equine assisted learning practitioner with over 25 years’ experience of working with adults, children and young people.
Hannah is an Associate of the Romanian Psychology College and a visiting lecturer for ARPI (Romanian Institute for Integrative Psychotherapy) where she teaches on their Children and Young People’s Integrative Psychotherapy Diploma. She is also a supervisor for the YMCA George Williams College in London and an Associate of Williams Independent Psychological Consultancy. Hannah has been practising mindfulness for over 20 years and holds practitioner certificates in both adult and children’s mindfulness practice.
Andy Caress is a mental health trainer with the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust, who delivers workshops on all aspects of child and adolescent mental wellbeing for pupils, school staff and parents from nursery through to college age. After working as a youth worker and history teacher, Andy developed depression and anxiety as a result of stress. He now brings his passion and skill for working with children, combined with his understanding of the importance of maintaining mental wellbeing, to the work of the charity.
Thanks to his lived experience, Andy brings a unique insight into the realities of mental health issues, in particular the often-misunderstood expressions of self-harm and suicidal ideation. With humour, honesty and empathy, Andy helps demystify these behaviours and thoughts, and helps those working with young people to offer practical and effective support.
Dr Richard Woolley is Deputy Head (Research) in the Institute of Education at the University of Worcester.
He is author of Tackling Controversial Issues in the Primary School (Routledge, 2010), co-author or Relationships and Sex Education 5 – 11 (Continuum 2012), and editor of Values and Vision in Primary Education (Open University Press, 2013) and Understanding Inclusion: core concepts, policy and practice (Routledge 2018).
Dr Sacha Mason is Programme Leader for Professional Studies at Bishop Grosseteste University. She has taught in Higher Education for 13 years and has a number of years of experience as a primary teacher working with children in Key Stage 1. She is co-author of Relationships and Sex Education 5 – 11 (Continuum 2012).
Tony has been working with vulnerable children and families for over 25 years. During this time he has worked as an Advisor to Local Education Authorities, Schools and Charities. He has developed projects internationally with the British Council and, until recently, was CEO of a charity providing direct support to schools.
In 2016 he co-founded Headsight therapeutic services and training company intent on providing the highest quality, skills based training to those professionals and carers who spend the most time with children and young people.
An expert digital and social media marketer with over 18 years in the industry, Richard is responsible for business strategy, customer profiling, social media marketing as well as research and development for clients and customers.
Steve counts himself as very fortunate that day-to-day his energy focuses on what he loves doing – helping people draw out the best in themselves and/or those they support or lead. Whether coaching teachers with classroom management, teaching emotional literacy skills to pupils or providing interim leadership for schools and education support services, his focus is upon developing people’s skills and internal resources to help increase their effectiveness and wellbeing.
Much of his work takes Steve into educational settings, his ‘natural habitat’ having served in education for over 25yrs. As a classteacher he was always curious about those youngsters who were ‘on the edge’, an interest that led him to working with troubled and disaffected youngsters. He obtained a Master’s Degree in Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties, which gave him an opportunity to explore in depth relational approaches to teaching and learning. Out of his thesis grew the Behaviour Wall, a resource for identifying the links between troubling behaviour and identifying unmet developmental needs. His subsequent role leading a Behaviour and Attendance team enabled him to blend theory and down-to-earth practical approaches to support teachers, pastoral staff and school leaders.
Steve is an associate with Integrity Coaching, Kate Cairns Associates and ASEND. He sits on the National Council for the Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties Association (SEBDA), as well as supporting other organisations committed to bringing about educational reform, including Human Scale Education and HumanEd.
With a passion for marketing and advertising coupled with a strong background in video advertising and post-production, Sam is responsible for operations management as well as graphic design and multimedia production.
Oliver qualified as a solicitor in 2009 and has specialised solely in employment law since qualifying. He joined our Lincoln employment team in 2013 and became a senior solicitor in April 2015. Oliver has predominantly advised employers across a wide range of sectors throughout the UK but also has extensive experience of advising individuals with workplace issues, including senior executives and directors.
He advises employers and employees on all aspects of employment law, including day to day problems such as disciplinary and grievance issues; varying terms and conditions of employment; individual and collective redundancy procedures; TUPE issues; reorganisations; performance management; sickness absence; contractual disputes and settlement agreements. His aim is to provide effective and practical commercial advice to ensure that the clients’ aims are achieved and a lasting relationship is developed.
Alan coaches and develops team focusing on Resilience and Mental Toughness. Utilising the four core aspects of challenge, commitment, control and confidence - great things can happen when you believe you can achieve.
Alan obtained his BPS accredited degree in Psychology at the University of Hull and MBPsS accreditation for the British Psychology Society, followed by successfully completing his Post Graduate Certificate in Education and becoming a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
When individuals are asked to describe a teacher who made a difference in their lives, they invariably describe the way a teacher helped them find the confidence and motivation to reach for goals they previously saw as beyond their reach. The best staff and teams understand instinctively when young people need a boost in self-confidence or some support their ability to handle frustration and find a way to meet those needs.
John is passionately committed to ensuring the entitlement of all children and young people to high quality learning experiences, especially in PHSCE from KS1- post 16.
Formerly a secondary school senior leader, John spent 12 years at Exeter University, developing a uniquely effective sex and relationships education programme across the UK and overseas.
John is now a trainer and consultant specialising in aspects of PSHE including Careers & Employability. Recent roles include supporting ‘healthy schools’ and as regional advisor with the PHSE Subject Association and national PHSE CPD programme.
